Are You There? - Jane Fisher

ARE YOU THERE?

Looking for you wherever I go
I close my eyes, maybe you'll be there
Keep looking, keep looking, it's keeping me alive
My search for peace is not for others to decide

Where are you? Are you there?

Pain fills the emptiness in my soul
Is there healing when the whole story is told
A glimmer of light urges me on
The strength I need may be found in a song

Can you hear me, can you hear my voice
Do you hear me calling your name
I listen and listen , and hope for a sign
I'll only miss you more over time

Come to me in my dreams, and my dream will come true
All I want is a message from you

Are you there?

Can you feel the tears I cry for you
I'm waiting for something, some kind of a clue
I miss you more than words can say
I'll be waiting and looking for you every day

Are you there?

The Venus Loon Left Too Soon written by James Stuart Maycock

with his crimson moon,
he made us swoon,
but the venus loon ,
he left us too soon.

with his cadilac,
and his Vampower stack,
we loved every move,
we loved every track.

his cascading curls,
were a momento for girls,
and his glittered face,
we still embrace.

he sang ''get it on '' ,
and he rode a white swan,
he was the King ,
and he could do no wrong.

the elemental child ,
was uniquely styled,
he was the Warlord ..........
of the royal crocodile.

the mambo sun,
was having such fun,
Slider ,Tanx, Zinc..........
and then Zip Gun .

but the genius Mark Feld,
was nearing his end,
and without any warning,
we had lost 'our' best friend.

i've always loved him,
and always been a fan,
of that beautiful, talented,
wonderful man.

The Elfin Face written by Stephen ‘Ace’ Luff

The Elfin face with stealth like grace
Raced above ground
At a tremendous pace

He gave us new worlds and words
With creatures we forgot about or never heard
Lead by a dinosaur that name was so long
DJ’s thought it absurd but were so wrong

The charts he was born
Where glam rock he would spawn
With Sam & main man
A new decade did dawn

Years went past and nice press never lasts
He go and reinvent these new sounds he would blast
Kids were all cruel
Cause most had left school
But real fans would stay by him
And again he would rule.

The Slider King grooved
Made the kids wanna move
With a kinda Dandy comeback
Sounded all way too cool

But while his show still on TV
And his tour doing well
The soul of his suit it was taken
Fans were put under a spell

Now many years later
His songs are still greater
Cause our beloved Marc
Was the true innovator

Marc never went away written by Ceri Wheeler

And as he left his body in and Archangel blazing light.
The Sun shone so strongly that the day became night and the night became day.
He simply wasn't mean't to stay too long.
Yet long enough to leave his beautiful song in plenitude.
Then I imagine him say.
"And in each song you'll find my heart, for in truth I never left you.
I never went away
I gave you these gifts so that I might stay.
Right here in your Pure Loving Hearts

Debora's Love written by Debora Peake (Bolanbabe)

These words, few words I have to say
In my little room I can get away
On my wall posters, discs guitar picks
of someone beloved we all do miss

I only wish you were still here for us
No more songs of love to hear
The ones you sang, Oh! in our hearts
'Ride A White Swan' and a 'Beard Of Stars'

The stars will shine for you our Marc
If we look up where you walk
we will see the arc

You were my teenage dream forever you will be
I have your jeans so dear to me
My life has been so full of joy
thanks to you our '20th Century Boy'

Your love and light will carry on
Our beautiful Marc
we still 'Get It On'

There's just one more thing I would like to say
KALMIYH - forever a daye laye

My Heart written by James Marshall Black

My heart, moved by the sound

the sound of the poet, the sound of the universe

the sound of magic, the sound of Marc.

My heart, broken by the loss

broken by the cost, the cost, the terrible cost

the cost cast one morning by the road, by the dark

My heart, touched by the devoted

touched by the feeling, the feeling of them all

touched by magic, still living, in all of their endless love, for Marc.

UNICORN written by Jaime Pitman

From high above
In lofty Skies
A mythical creature
Gracefully flies

Lashed up to a harness
Made up of pure silk
The splendid carved chariot
Made from same ilk

He waits by the Rapids
This Ill Starred Man
For his Tenement Lady
For as long as he can

This Pilgrims Tale
From the ancients was born
How their union was aided
By the blessed Unicorn

The Punkoid Moon & Love Lawn Loon – written by Stephen ‘Ace’ Luff

The punkoid moon shone on the love lawn loon
Sitting in the urgent galleon
The child star danced across the bashful sky
With a wisp of a demented stallion

The electric wind screams just above the ground
Shaking the mound with amazing rock sound
This they say tormented the crowd
And when the wind dies left them all proud

Bob the poet just didn’t know it
Sam said “hey this is about you”
But silly Bob turned the wrong knob
And thought he was metal guru.

While a unicorn came with a long trailing main
That blew in the air like falling rain
A sound of thunder like a rexual legend drummer
As it played all over the plain

The sun rise like some ancient mythical eye
Its beams shone like corkscrew hair that made you cry
Where is this land Debora asked as she did not want to be denied
It is not a place but a beautiful face

Marc Bolan forever in our embrace

Beautiful - written by Linda Wells (Laser Lady)

You made my life so beautiful
With every line from every song
Your face, your words, your lovely smile
You really were a man of style
Your music, songs and words all stay
Within my heart every single day
And though you’re gone, it’s sad but true
There is no getting over you
Your music plays within my head
Which means that you cannot be dead
And in my mind I play your songs
So you, my Wizard, still live on

Tyrannosaurus Rex - written by Jaime Pitman

From Tyrannosaurus Rex
Began Marc and Steve Took
The new underground group
With the peace and love look

Filled with ideas
great knowledge and passion
The mind forever casting
His creations and fashions

Then a slight name change
Like a magical hex
This two man band now
was four - and T. Rex

To see Marc in a room
Was wonderful amazing
Turning heads of both sexes
As crowds brewed hellraising

The piece de resistance
was to see them perform
Stamping a new generation
Feeling alive and reborn

So history was made
Of hot love and pure ecstasy
The headlines now spashing
The real meaning - T Rextasy!!!

The Weilder Of Words - Jaime Pitman

He's a legend and an icon
The ultimate weilder of words
Sublime electric warrior
with songs we hadn't heard

The groove of rhythmic beats
He set the scene for fun
Sensual bodies feeling the heat
The heat of the Mambo sun

Then the famous Slider
No-one could get enough
The night time cowboy rider
who magically struts his stuff

He's riding with such passion
Spurred on by words she sang
To hold his night angel
His Baby Boomerang

but these are just two favourites
amounst so many more
As these two classic albums
are like none we ever saw

But sadly there is an ending
with destiny showing it's hand
The Dandy in the Underworld
was the last for this great band

Untitled - written by Jaime Pitman

Mystics, wizards and white swans
ghostly mouths of the raw ramps
Just like a rebellious rip off
He danced in parks with tramps

Ladies of the dreamy kind
Sailors of the highway too
London boys boogie till dawn
to the thrills of metal guru

The sexy roar of thunderwing
ignites the light of love
As Kings of mountains and rambling spires
watch the magical moon above..

The beauty that's cosmic dancer
can almost make you cry
But the minx that's Desdemona
wants to lift her skirt and fly!!!!

A ban tried to remove her
but that fell on deaf ears
For the New York city - Groover
had support from all his peers..

Glide through the mind – written by Steve ‘Ace’ Luff

Sliding and gliding
Through the facets of his mind
A prism of colour
Filled with love is what you find
I saw mystic places
Of this world would never show
Even of the reason why he want us all to know
Pathways head off
To words man’s never heard
Such as Salamanda Palaganda
To a layman must sound absurd
His ruins of tunes
Drove me to distraction
1,000 at one time
Just imagine my reaction
How the hell he just pick one
To leave the rest seems so mad
On hearing the unfinished symphonies
Just made me more than sad
‘Metal Guru’ he’s calling you
I heard the radio mutter
It’s only then that I awoke with regret
Maybe also with a shudder

She’s An Eater of Cars written by Steve ‘Ace’ Luff’

She’s cold to the touch when her lights her off
But looks so neat & mean
Some call her fast, some call her crass others a chromed sex machine.
She has no limbs or eyes or ears
But for a petite little thing all made from casts
She takes on her world and roars like monsters
That appeared once in our past.
To own her is to love her
To cherish & caress
Without care she’ll deny you your soul
She loves you to straddle her
Back covered with leather
Ride like to hell hearts pumping together
Only glancing into your past
Through an image such as glass
Attached then two become one.
She’s an eater of cars
This woman of ours
Who only wants you to Rock’n’Roll…

My Leather Lipped Woman written by Stephen ‘Ace’ Luff

My leather lipped woman
With the elevator lips
With electric boogie
Swinging from both hips
She’s a galactic comet
Who’ll suck love from my waste
A bitch who sweats sugar
So pure to the taste.
Her face shouts Picasso
As she paints elegance and grace
Yet her mouth is full of vile anger and race
In the eyes you see lands no longer on Earth
With animals & stars riding forever since birth
An anaconda heart that bites so fatal
With a body so devious you just have to cradle
She my leather lipped woman
Nothing can change her
Not that I want to
She’s my little angel

The Depth From Within written by Stephen ‘Ace’ Luff

Man measures by height
Using but numbers
These I think of as I lay hear and lumber
To me thou these numbers
Are but just an illusion
As a depth of a man
Is not in the conclusion
I once knew of a man
Such small in statue
With Corkscrew hair
And limited numbers
29 he was given
Even less he would use
To write wonderful gifts
Hippy, glam, rock, punk and blues
He may of looked elf like
If you ever saw
But within beat a heart
As big as a Dinosaur
30 plus more has past since his taken
But his gifts to his children
Are as strong as their making
So don’t ever judge
By the height whom is near you
Cause within a Tyrant Lizard King
May come to devour you…

Electric love written by Steve ‘Ace’ Luff

Your cut from life so cruel so un-green
We hold you slung hip to make you scream
You’re a figure of gods
A maker of chords
The electric vamporator
Great solo creator
Neck so slender
A body to caress
Knowing how results are the best
You can sound so gentle
So innocent so sweet
Then rock the heavens
Dragging people to their feet
Your friends the strings, the amps
And the power
Act as one
In this electric axe extravaganza
You’re my electric love
I play and give it my all
You’re my gold topped guitar
You’re my Les Paul

Mystical Girl with Dragon Hair written by Steve ‘Ace’ Luff

A motivating Dworn traveled up through your soul
Like an aging priestess who drank too much song.
The Electric witch I saw within your eyes drove like a car to my heart.
An adjacent kid warned me of your Grecian kiss that masquerade through time like an eagle on the wind.
You dangled your freedom when your offered me your bed
Like baby strange with winds of passion but lame in the shadow it was under.
Like a changeless madman with lizard boots on I came upon you in a mist of thunder where everyone knew our names.
The whirlpool in your hair like red clouds upon the dragon flew in a perfumed breeze
till we came outside your velvet door.
I felt for your universe face that smiled with autumn diamonds of cosmic proportions that kept my eyes & mind away from your token loved legs
Your walk was like a Thunderwing on a glide to the vamporater’s home upon the hill of the June’s Buffalo.
It was here we danced the skunk of freedom
I brought a jeep cheap and took you home….

Boomerang Babe written by Steve ‘Ace’ Luff

Sulphur dust Priestess
Surfer of the South
Dropped chopped chromed hog
Vaporized my mouth
Cosmic asteroid
Trailing from her hair
Side glanced winked me
Stripped my senses bare
Lizard tongued verbalized
Mystic of the words
Put her life to story
Gave us songs we’ve never heard
Get it on, sang the song
Boomerang’s the babe
Angel child kid of Rarn
The one we got to save
The mystic left us
His words still very strong
Shall we not forget
Keep listening to the song

Bolanistic Morn written by Steve ‘Ace’ Luff

Bolanistic Morn
T’was at dawn
Riding high above
An aforementioned white swan
It was not I who the swan was a carrier
But an elf like wizard the electric warrior
No sounds from this swan did I hear cry
But a Stratocaster scream
And bright dawn colours in the sky
His smile became sun
His hair the clouds
Music filled the air
And possessed the crowds

Painter of Magic written by Steve ‘Ace’ Luff

A wizard adorn of the black mystic hat
Was not of magical myth
He was a wizard of words
With a slung boogie on his hip
Like a psychedelic mailman
Delivering paintings of magic
To all of the angel blue’s on Venus Loon.
The Galaxies denied him dance
As his maiden was a sister of cars who prefer Jupiter and Mars.
He beheld only one eastern spell ‘twas the magic of Bolie
To all a yonder it turned men into silver stud fenders
And females into priestess’s of the stain glassed look.
Hearts would be broken forever and one day
And all became children of the spell of the Bolie
Was what they were under.
But ravished runes of tunes unzipped the poetry
And freed those and behold they became groovers over of the spell of Bolie
Strange of this tale is not one offered to leave
But stay under a house that could hold them all
So till this day forever and some more
You hear Bolanistic stereophonic sounds
Coming from the mound
That appears to be all and round
A place once lovingly Rarn.

A Cinderella Bolan Adventure written by Steve 'Ace' Luff

On the night of the Beltane Walk you zip gunned that boogie like a planet Queen with swans in your hair on a cosmic dance around the babe shadows of your soul

You were dancing in the midnight filled with hot love that was too much for a shy boy

The crimson moon shone down on those children of the revolution who with dwarfish awe gazed at Palamino Blue like she was all untrue.

While I sat in sunken rags near hippy gumbo not all alone as I was the wizard with my hat & my cat black & he’s friend baby boomerang I felt like Billy super duper carrying my interstellar soul like a jeepster with a sabre toothed grin.

We flew in our pale mustang ford on the jitterbug love road to Rarn.

But hey! crazy child when I arrived at Beltane Walk there was you, my free angel, my dove, my jewel & we danced in the ballroom of mars till our highway knees were covered in jasmine 49

Lady lazar love told us we were born to boogie I felt so good as I loved to boogie I could celebrate summer till beyond the rising sun & you gazed like a dreamy lady under an eastern spell covered in chariots of silk.

Charlie & Debora came & played their chrome sitars & we sang the broken hearted blues, you smiled & I felt like a foxy boy totally love drunk wanting mellow love & wanting to get it on like a prince of players.

Just then a casual agent arrived on a unicorn warning of the coming of the magical moon past the mystic midnight.

I remember we stood their as Dandy took off to his underworld and dawn came with a storm and there upon high was a mambo sun...
