Of images unwind
Of a long lost rock idol
Unfurl in my mind
Colours and glitter
Extravagance and grace
The beautiful image
Of a Elfin face
A sound to the images
Now does combine
To bring those images alive
And move in time
It feels like I’ve gone back
To the 70s era
Full of screams of Rextasy
At that amazing little feller
Electric Boogie I hear him shout
The words BOOGIE ON
Of that I have no doubt
He may not be here in physical form
But his all around us
In the air rocking up a storm
